Welcome. As you can see, we've made a transition from a poorly designed, difficult to update website, to this blog page. Less content, for now, but easier to keep updated and more to the point! So what does June have in store for us? We're preparing for the 'launch' of Faultlines on July 2nd, so lots of preparation to be done, including looking out for reviews of the album. One particularly pleasant review so far has come from Big Cheese Magazine, who gave it 4.5 out of 5 and say:
"This is beautiful, powerful and heartfelt music. Whether you call it angular rock, emo or indie rock, it’s a mesmerising debut album. You’ll be hard pushed to find faultlines on this beauty. "
Avast! are also preparing for their BBC Radio Scotland session with Vic Galloway, on July 2nd. They'll be playing a few songs live in the studio, so make sure you tune in for that. If you want to catch them live yourself, they'll be playing at Drouthy Neebors in Dundee on June the 27th, alongside the fantastic Household.
We have also started the ball rolling on our 2nd release, which is very exciting indeed. More news on this will be revealed over the next few months so check back!
Finally, we have set up a mailing list to keep you up to date with news of releases, tours and other band related stuff, so please subscribe using the box at the bottom of this page!
